This recipe is from one of our clients. They served it to us when we were working at their home and it immediately became a Mayfield Family Favourite. It is simply delicious!

 

Ingredients:

4 cups strong hot tea

1 cup sugar

3 cups apple juice

1/2 cup lemon juice

1 cup cranberry cocktail

28 oz bottle chilled ginger ale

Paper-thin lemon slices

Mint sprigs

 

Directions:

Pour hot tea over sugar in pitcher. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Stir in apple juice, lemon juice and cranberry juice and chill until serving time. Pour mixture into punch bowl. Add ginger ale and top with lemon slices and mint sprigs.

NOTE: if desired omit lemon slices and top punch with very hard frozen scoops of lemon sherbet just before serving.
